How to read the number
PKLStats Rating v2 describes 2026 form to 31 August 2026 — it is a rating, not a prediction. 100 is the average qualifying 2026 player. 10 points is one standard deviation across those players. Higher is better.
Each rating comes from the point margin of official MLP doubles games, shared among the four players on court, and adjusted for partner and opponent. A player has one shared strength plus a small offset for each discipline. Recent games count more: the model uses a 120-day half-life. Starting values come from public PickleWave tour matches.
The bar is an 80% band. In 200 resamples of the underlying games, the rating fell inside that range four times out of five. A wider bar is a less certain number. Confidence is High, Medium or Low according to how narrow the band is. Low means the rating is indicative only.
