Three titles, two titles and one season rescued
Good morning,
This weekend’s most important results were not isolated victories. They changed what several players and teams can reasonably expect from the rest of their seasons.
Andie Dikosavljevic won every professional division she entered in Melbourne. Tristan Dussault completed an unbeaten Macon double. Dallas turned a disastrous MLP campaign into a title run. In India, a new national circuit has created a defined route from city competition into the professional auction.
The lead
Nine matches, nine wins and a Melbourne triple crown
Dikosavljevic entered women’s singles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles at the PPA 250 Melbourne. From the quarter-finals onwards, she played nine matches, won all nine and conceded only one game.
Her singles run was particularly severe. Isabelle Papazyan, Tayah Cross and Mihika Yadav collected only 13 points between them across six games. Dikosavljevic then won women’s doubles with Sarah Burr before recovering from her only dropped game to take mixed gold alongside Zachary Grabovic.
Harrison Brown also won twice in Melbourne, while Dussault recorded 12 winners-bracket victories across men’s singles and men’s doubles in Macon. Amber Policare, Isabella Dunlap and Liz Truluck each left Georgia with two medals.

India has connected city-level winners to the IPL auction
The second Pickleball Now Grand Prix begins in Mumbai on 23 July before expanding across a planned 13-city schedule. It carries up to ₹50 lakh in prize money and Pickleball World Rankings points.
Its real consequence sits beyond either reward. Winners at each stop will enter the Indian Pickleball League player auction.
An auction place does not guarantee a bid or contract. It does, however, give domestic players a route that can be understood before they enter: win locally, reach the professional market and give franchises a reason to watch.

Dallas changed the plan before the season became lost
Four weeks ago, the Dallas Flash left MLP Austin with a 1-4 record and no standings points. In San Diego, the rebuilt team went unbeaten and defeated the defending champion Columbus Sliders 3-1 in the final.
The decisive game put the trade on both sides of the net. Danni-Elle Townsend and Augie Ge beat Townsend’s trade counterpart Tyra Black and CJ Klinger 11-4. Dallas has now gone 12-4 since changing its roster.
Columbus received an elite women’s partnership through Black and Parris Todd. Dallas received something larger: a more balanced team and a season that can still lead somewhere.
