Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada – HearingLife Canada has announced a new three-year sponsorship deal with Pickleball Canada. This partnership officially launched the week of May 24, 2025, coinciding with the Atlantic Regional Championship in Bedford, Nova Scotia. HearingLife Canada, recognised as the country's largest hearing health provider, aims to promote better hearing and support players of what is described as Canada’s fastest-growing sport. Pickleball continues its surge in popularity across Canada, with over one million players engaging in games monthly. As part of the agreement, HearingLife Canada will have a presence at Pickleball Canada’s Regional and National Championship events to educate participants about hearing care. They will notably offer FREE hearing tests for individuals over the age of 19 to raise awareness about hearing health protection. HearingLife's presence is confirmed for several major events this summer, including provincials in Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario (TBC), and the Pickleball Nationals in Winnipeg from August 19–24. Pickleball Canada has expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting that protecting hearing is crucial for players hoping to enjoy the sport long-term. This collaboration aims to help thousands of Canadians stay active and connected by focusing on clear communication on the court.

India Declares Pickleball Official! Government Recognition & Packed Summer Schedule Signal New Era for the Sport

New Delhi, India – The Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) is gearing up for an action-packed summer, featuring numerous tournaments across the country in May and June 2025. Events are scheduled in key cities including New Delhi, Hyderabad, and Chennai. These tournaments, sanctioned by the IPA, are designed to boost the sport's profile and unite communities. A significant development solidifying the sport's standing is the IPA's recent recognition by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports as the official governing body of pickleball in India. This official status enhances the sport's position both domestically and internationally, especially following the Global Pickleball Federation naming IPA a Class A member. Looking ahead, the IPA is also set to host the Pickleball Asia Cup 2025 later in the year. The busy summer calendar includes IPA-sanctioned events such as PWR 100 tournaments in New Delhi (May 24–25), a PWR 200 in New Delhi (June 7–8), a PWR 50 in Hyderabad (June 7–8), and the PWR 200 – Pro Indian Masters Open in Chennai (June 10–15). The IPA remains dedicated to expanding the sport's reach nationwide and increasing its popularity, welcoming players of all skill levels to join the growing movement.

Age? Just a Score! Registration Opens for Ontario 55+ Summer Games Pickleball Qualifiers in Azilda Ahead of Sudbury Showdown

Azilda, Ontario, Canada – Registration is now open for the qualifiers of the Ontario 55+ Summer Games pickleball tournament within District 3 — Sudbury-Nipissing. The qualifying matches are scheduled to take place at the Lionel E. Lalonde Centre in Azilda on June 14 and 15. The cost to participate in the qualifiers is $20, which covers an Ontario Senior Games Association membership and activity/court fees. Players who successfully qualify at this event will earn a spot to advance to the main Ontario 55+ Summer Games. These games are slated to be held in Sudbury from August 5 to 7. Prospective participants should note that the registration deadline for the qualifiers is June 7, or earlier if the maximum number of paid teams is reached in any category. The tournament format for the qualifiers is exclusively doubles play, including men’s, women’s, and mixed teams. Competitors will compete in age groups of 55-plus and 65-plus, across skill levels 3.5 and 4.0. The broader 2025 Ontario 55+ Summer Games in Sudbury are set to feature 16 different sports staged at 20 venues, anticipating participation from over 1,200 competitors.
