The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour Asia has unveiled an aggressive start to its 2026 season, confirming three major tournament stops in the first half of the year. The tour will launch in Hanoi, Vietnam, in April, followed by events in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Macao, China, in May. These events are designed to offer "world-class" competitive experiences while expanding the tour's footprint into key Asian markets.

The season kickoff in Hanoi is particularly significant. The "MB Hanoi Cup," running from April 1–5 at the My Dinh Indoor Athletics Arena, marks the PPA's first major foray into Northern Vietnam. Organisers are pitching the event as a fusion of "ancient traditions" and "modern energy," hoping to capitalise on Vietnam's rapidly growing player base. The tournament offers 1,000 PPA ranking points, making it a critical stop for athletes chasing global standing.

Following Vietnam, the tour heads to the "9Pickle" venue in Kuala Lumpur from May 14–17. This location is described as one of the "loudest, most electric venues" on the circuit, known for its raucous crowd energy. The opening trifecta concludes with the Macao Open from May 28–31. In stark contrast to the cultural heritage of Hanoi, Macao offers a backdrop of "luxury and spectacle," providing a high-glamour stage for the sport in the heart of the Pearl River Delta.
